Gloria Lucas
Gloria Lucas
Gloria Lucas is the driving force behind the groundbreaking movement known as Nalgona Positivity Pride. Drawing from her own lived experience with an eating disorder, Gloria embarked on a mission to redefine our perception of eating disorders within the framework of social justice. Her work has resonated far and wide, earning her features on prestigious platforms such as NPR, Teen Vogue, MTV, Huffpost, Allure Magazine, and the Los Angeles Times. Through Seeds From The Flesh, she artfully curates a nostalgic oasis inspired by the vibrant 1970s. As if her creative ventures weren't enough, Gloria's recent foray into the music world as DJ Psychedelic Chilaquiles showcases her boundless passion. Residing in Orange County, CA, Gloria Lucas is an embodiment of transformative change and tireless dedication to her diverse pursuits.

Yesika Salgado
Yesika Salgado is a Los Angeles based Salvadoran poet who writes about her family, her culture, her city, and her fat body. Salgado is a two time National Poetry Slam finalist and the recipient of the 2020 International Latino Book Award in Poetry. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, TeenVogue, Univision, CNN, NPR, and many other platforms. She is an internationally recognized body-positive advocate, writer of the column Suelta for Remezcla and contributor to refinery29’s Latine platform Somos. Yesika is the author of the best-sellers Corazón, Tesoro, and Hermosa, published with Not a Cult.
